When I initially tested this, I liked the consistency on my fingers. The fact that it’s so thick that it doesn’t run and so isn’t as messy as other water-based lubes was a plus. Or seemed to be. This stuff is useless for toys–it’s so thick and sticky that it just gums up and causes horrible friction in use, like it needed additional water added to activate it. Thought maybe it was the texture of the new toy I was using, but when I switched back to my other lube, that stuff worked MUCH better and was actually slick and slippery the way it was supposed to be. It’s too bad, I was hoping this stuff would be a viable replacement that makes less mess, but it’s not even close. Very disappointing.

this is the best lube ive ever used for my manhood. feels great, super easy cleanup, doesnt dry as fast as other lubes, doesnt quickly soak into your skin, and it doesnt leave you feeling sticky. whatever its made of provides a sort of cushion, so you dont have to worry about friction burns with this one! It does have a scent, id say closer to “scentless” lotion than lube, but you have to use alot to smell it.
I bought the 8.5oz bottle about 12 days ago and used it quite a bit. the amount i used in those 12 days total is LESS than what id have to use in one sitting with other brands. this is some good stuff!

Prior to buying Sassy, I found the H2O version on Period Nirvana, I needed lube to insert a new menstrual disc. The healthy, uncomplicated and non-fragrant ingredient list sold me. Before purchasing however, I came across a couple of reviews that described the H2O formula as less than lube-y, one mentioned the Sassy version as a good alternative. I checked other brands and too many had unnecessary yeast-UTI trigger additives so I bought Sassy and it worked awesome! This lube isn’t too thick to where it provides too much “padding” –– it’s just right at emulating your bodies natural lubrication. Because this is a water-based gel you’ll either need some form of liquid close by to reactivate it or reapply; for that reason, I prefer the H20 lubricant from the Sliquid Naturals collection. Otherwise, this lube is a really great product if you prefer water-based lubes.

It’s thicker than the H20 which means it’s a lot more comfortable for anal play. You’re not constantly having to reapply, and you don’t feel every single tiny micro ridge and bump on your partner’s fingers during stretching like you would with the H20. (That used to be a minor problem for us, especially since my bf’s body absorbs lube like crazy).

I didn’t realize this is meant for anal – it does say this on the bottle but you can’t see it in the pictures. I’m not into anal much but it works great for me with silicone toys vaginally. Someone had given me a sample of the blue one and I remember it was also great and had a thinner consistency. I would probably buy the blue one next time since I liked the thinner consistency better. I’m thankful that unlike the conventional lubes this lube uses minimal ingredients that are fairly easy to pronounce. Says vegan friendly but there is no bunny logo – made me a bit suspicious.

I forgot I was even using lube, and I mean that in a good way. I chose to first try this product when I wasn’t actively in the mood for maintenence sex, which I thought was the perfect throwing it in the deep end proving grounds. I sometimes experience penetration pain, mostly psychological now, and in the past when I’ve used lube I’ve experienced stinging, pain, and discomfort. Not so with Sliquid. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this. I bought this after my bottle of H20 (which I liked at first) became like water. Shrugged it off thinking maybe it was older than I thought.
Sassy was not much better. It’s almost as thin. I put it on a stainless steel toy and it just beaded up and wouldn’t cover it. I compared it to several other lubes I had and didn’t have this issue.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to purchase anymore Sliquid products.

As others have said this line doesnt dry up and leave a sticky residue, it has a very nice feeling. It will dry up quicker if you are using it for external stimulation, but definitely lasts longer if used internally for vaginal/anal. Even works great in the shower if you turn the spray off to the side. I wish they carried this brand in more stores. Give this or the Sea lube a try and you won’t be disappointed!

I’m sensitive to many products in this category, but no problems with this one. Does a great job keeping things moving pain free. I do wish the bottle was a little more flexible or had some other way to make it easier to get out. It’s so thick it took a lot of shaking to get it out of the stiff bottle.
