Question:
Do your products come in discreet shipping mailers/boxes?Answer:
yes they do. If you choose USPS or Fedex, the return address will list “customer care”. UPS will list Sliquid in the return address.
Question:
Is there a shelf life for the Sliquid lubricant?Answer:
Yes, there is a 3 year shelf life unopened, and 6 – 12 months once opened. There is a lot code and shelf life date on the bottom of the bottles.
Question:
So, as a long-time customer and AFAB, queer/trans person, I’m wondering why your non-silicone lines don’t come with a pump bottle option? Because having to use a two-handed operation, mid-session, is more than a bit clumsy. Please elaborate – AFAB people need one-handed use, too.Answer:
Non silicone lubricants do not come with a pump because a proper heat seal cannot be applied with a pump in place. Silicone does not require a heat seal, as it is not a medium that can grow bacteria. We do sell an add on pump that will work with any 4 or 8oz bottle here.
Question:
I have a bottle of organics natural that I opened less than a month ago. Today I noticed a sour smell and a slightly different texture. Does it go bad? Does it need to be stored a certain way?Answer:
You typically have 6 – 12 months once opened, so long as the product is within it’s shelf life. Storage should be at room temperature, with the bottle closed, and out of direct sunlight or high humidity (bathrooms).
Question:
Just wondering if, when you order something will it have the company / product name or logo on it?Answer:
Hello! No. All orders are packed in unmarked boxes or envelopes, with Customer Care listed as the sender.
Question:
Will it wash out of cotton or synthetic sheets?Answer:
Products with silicone (Silver, Silk, Spark) are likely to stain high thread count or synthetic materials.
Question:
What is the difference between Silquid organics natural, and Silquid H20? which is better for an post menopause person?Answer:
H2O and Natural actually function in the same manner. The difference is that H2O is a simple, water-based formula with only 5 ingredients, whereas Natural is an aloe-based formula with added organic botanical extracts. You may really like Satin, which was specifically formulated to address post-menopausal body changes. It doubles as a lubricant and daily moisturizer. I will include a direct link below.
Question:
Can Sliquid be used for self-pleasure/toys?Answer:

Is sliquid satin safe for use with oral sex in small amounts? For example – if it is used vaginally and then oral sex is performed.Answer:
Yes. Our natural ingredients make Satin safe for ingestion during sexual acts.

Question:
I have Celiac and need to make sure my products are free of gluten. Are Sliquid products gluten free? Thanks!Answer:
Sliquid products are gluten free, but are manufactured in a facility that processes non gluten free products.
Why are Sliquid products glycerin / glycol / glycerol free?
Glycerin, glycol, and glycerol are all humectants, meaning they draw in moisture, both from the air and from anything they come into contact with. This makes them very slippery, which is why you find them in many lubricants. However, they are also sugar derivatives, and may contribute to yeast infections and UTI’s, especially in those already prone to them. Glycerin is a byproduct of the soap making process, which boils down animal and vegetable fats, leaving us with several very undesirable byproducts, including glycerin.
What do you use instead of glycerin?
We found the most natural ingredient we could – plant cellulose. Our key ingredient in Sliquid products is plant cellulose derived from organically sourced cotton fibers (if you look closely, you can see a little cloudiness in the lubricants). We also blend in Cyamposis (Guar Conditioners), a safe, non toxic, hypoallergenic additive to help the plant cellulose glide.
So why no parabens?
Parabens (methyl, propyl, butyl) are common preservatives in many household cosmetics, including deodorant, makeup, and many more. Some studies have shown a high amount of parabens present in breast cancer tissue biopsies. Though parabens are still legal to use in cosmetics here in the USA, several countries in the EU have taken steps to discontinue their use. Although there is no definitive proof of causation, we decided to stay ahead of the curve, and not take any chances with the safety of our consumers.
Are Sliquid products safe to use during pregnancy, or while I am trying to become pregnant?
Sliquid products are designed with safety in mind. However, we have not conducted specific testing related to sperm motility. Therefore, we cannot make formal recommendations for use during attempts to conceive. Since individual needs and circumstances vary, we advise consulting with a healthcare professional and reviewing the ingredient list to make an informed decision that’s right for you and your partner.
What would happen if a Sliquid product was ingested?
Sliquid products are the cleanest, most natural products in their category. Many Sliquid products are intended for some amount of ingestion, like Sliquid Swirl. We do not recommend ingesting any of our bath and body products, or our lubes made with silicone or menthol – while they won’t hurt you, the taste is not going to be very good.
What if I have an allergic reaction to Sliquid?
Sliquid products are formulated to be hypoallergenic, using only the safest and purest ingredients available. If you feel that your body is not receptive to any of our products, we recommend discontinuing use.
