Wetlandia – Organics Silk Review

Organics Silk Review by Wetlandia

If one were to survey what kind of lube people prefer, you will get very polarized results. A lot of people swear by their silicone-based lube, but many are huge fans of water-based ones. And what exactly is a hybrid lube? Well, my friend, it’s the best of both worlds. Sometimes hybrid can refer to a blend of water and silicone, other times, water and oils. In both cases these lubricants have amazing qualities that rarely go hand in hand and even more rarely can be found in a single product.

The brand

Sliquid Organics Silk is an organic water-based blend mixed with silicone lube and botanical extracts. If I needed to give it a short description, I would say: it’s one of the best products Sliquid has created thus far — which speaks volumes. It’s pretty safe to say that Sliquid is the favorite and is the most beloved lube brand by sex bloggers and sex educators. Sliquid never makes anything that has glycerin, petrochemicals, parabens, or anything that’s not pH balanced, or has high osmolality. They don’t test their products on animals and  they’re all vegan-friendly.

How does Sliquid Silk Organics feel?

Sliquid Organics Silk

If you were ever looking for a lubricant that resembles cum, look no more! It’s creamy and whitish and its runny consistency resembles ejaculate a lot! If that’s your fantasy, by all means, shout that out (people need to know!)! Even if you don’t care about this resemblance, it still has a lovely texture and it’s hard not to fall in love with it. If you’re used to transparent lubricants, it might look weird at first, but you will get past that pretty easily.  Silk is tasteless and very liquidy. But don’t let this fool you into thinking that it will vanish and dry out quickly.

What is it good for?

I don’t often say this, but this lubricant is good for any kind of sexual activity. You name it: hand jobs, fingering, oral sex, vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse, all sex toys (including silicone toys or butt plugs, which often use something extra lasting). My only comment is: you might not like it as much if you prefer gel-like lubes to runny lubes. It’s ideal for long and rough sessions, because the silicone in the blend protects you from friction and from micro-tears.

If this is not the most exciting review of a lubricant I’ve written, this is only because everything about this lube is outstanding. If I had one wish from Sliquid: make a Silk Organics Gel version, please. A lot of people will benefit from a thicker and richer formula.

Emmeline Peaches- Organics Sensations Review

Emmeline Peaches- Organics Sensations Review

As you can probably guess from the ingredients list Sliquid Organics Sensations is devoid of any parabens, glycerine, and petroleum but Sliquid also go the extra mile by making sure that none of their ingredients are tested on animals too. In fact the lubricant itself is vegan, so fellow vegans can feel confident using this lube.

Consistency-wise it is incredibly pleasant. Sliquid wears its name like a badge of pride because its lubricants truly are the very definition of slick. There’s really no other word that truly does this lubricant justice. The smooth elegance as this lubricant glides its way over the body is truly invigorating and feels both completely in harmony with the body while also providing something more. Every time I use a Sliquid lubricant I feel empowered and ensured that my sexual experience will be enhanced in some way and this is no different with Sliquid Organics Sensations.

What did stand out about Sliquid Organics Sensations though is just how different it felt to Sliquid Sizzle. Sliquid Sizzle keeps the slick feeling of the standard range but Sliquid Organics Sensations feels closer to Sliquid Satin in how it merged with my body, feeling more like an ‘intimate moisturizer’ rather than a conventional lube. The peppermint sensation is also slightly muted with Sliquid Organics Sensations as opposed to Sliquid Sizzle and generally felt more refined. If Sliquid Sizzle is a lover’s firm grasp then Sliquid Organics Sensations is their gentle caress and I adore it for providing this softer, more intimate alternative.

Despite feeling lighter in many ways I also found that my Sliquid Organics Sensations was slightly thicker than my Sliquid Sizzle, which makes it slightly better for anal play and to use as a buffer for powerful sex toys. Sliquid Organics Sensations is kind of a paradox in this regards but it’s the best kind so I’m not complaining.

Scent-wise this lubricant does have a slight hint of peppermint to it but this is only detectable when close up to the nose. Peppermint is the prominent taste flavour-wise too although there is a distinct aftertaste of aloe (which does not taste nice) so I wouldn’t recommend this lubricant for oral use. But, anyway, the delicate yet noticeable cooling tingle that this lubricant provides should be enough to please most.

Sliquid Organics Sensations may be a bit more understated than Sliquid Sizzle but it still succeeds in providing noticeable sensation and heightening arousal and the receptiveness of the genitals. I personally have had many orgasms using this lubricant where its cooling undertones have added a complementary element to an already memorable experience so, as far as I’m concerned, this lubricant is worth every penny.

Scandarella- Sliquid Sea Review

Scandarella- Sliquid Sea Review

I’ve been a fan of Sliquid lubricants for a while, but one that never really caught my attention was Sliquid Sea. I don’t know why I never thought to try it, but I hadn’t, so was pleased as punch when I opened my first ever review package from Tantus and saw a bottle nestled between two dildos.

All Sliquid lubes are free from parabens, glycerol, propylene glycol, and the other nasties many people choose to avoid. They’re vegan friendly, and suitable for use with latex and rubber, so condom lovers can get down and dirty, confident in the knowledge that their lube isn’t gonna compromise their barrier.

Sliquid Sea has all of those familiar qualities, and also an additive derived from seaweed, called carrageenan. It’s an ingredient that’s widely used in cosmetics, and is said to be moisturising, and supposedly has anti-aging properties when used topically. I hope that’s true, cos keeping my vulva looking young and sprightly is imperative!

What I do trust is my own judgement, and I’ve decided that I like Sliquid Sea. It’s clear, completely tasteless, and scent free, so would be a good choice for those who like to taste their partner’s natural flavours when giving oral. I don’t, so this isn’t my favourite oral sex disguiser, I mean enhancer! Oral sex enhancer.

The viscosity of Sliquid Sea is kinda middle of the road; not at all thick, but not too runny either. I like to use it for fingers only masturbation, though I do find it dries up a little quicker than other Sliquid lubes. A small reapplication or a bit of saliva wakes things up again, though, so it’s all good. Using it for PIV sex or with toys for vaginal penetration is ace, but I prefer Sliquid Sassy for anal, as it offers more cushioning.

Yes, I do like this lube, and I will buy it again when the need arises. If you’d like to try it for yourself, you can get it from Tantus, or those in the UK can buy theirs from Nice ‘N’ Naughty.

The Sliquid Sea 125ml Lubricant was sent to me by Tantus in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influences my opinions, which are now, and will forever be, my own. Affiliate links have been used in this post.

Wetlandia- Splash Intimate Wash Review

Wetlandia- Splash Intimate Wash Review

Sliquid is a brand that focuses on healthy, organic, natural, pH balanced, vegan, glycerin, propylene glycol, glycerol and paraben free intimate products. They don’t test their products on animals. Sliquid are most famous for their lubricants (which I absolutely love), but they have a whole line of intimate washes, shaving creams and body oils. Sliquid Splash is their line of feminine washes that only differ in their scents: there’s the Naturally Unscented, Mango Passion, Honeydew Cucumber, and Grapefruit Thyme (which I am reviewing here).

Sliquid Splash comes in a pretty 8.5 oz recyclable bottle that is completely in line with their other products. Their packaging is really stylish, it looks like any other personal care item you have in your shower or night drawer. It says “gentle feminine wash” in small letters. The bottle is a very good value size that is going to last you a long time.

It has a gentle silky consistency, it’s not too liquidy and you only need a small amount of it. I’ve tried the unscented one at my girlfriend’s house, and it’s really neutral. I would recommend it to people who are too sensitive to scents and aromas. The smell of the scented version is strong. I love the grapefruit-thyme because it has this very refreshing citrus smell, but not everyone likes that for their intimate parts. I’ve used the wash for a fair amount of time and it hasn’t caused me irritations, nor any disbalance (and one can tell pretty quickly if something is throwing their vaginal flora off). If feels really nice and non-intrusive, and it doesn’t have any harsh chemicals in it. I can frankly say it’s one of the best intimate washes I’ve used. (And I’ve been using them since I was 12. Luckily I was taught not to use soap.)

Wetlandia – Stimulating O Gel

Wetlandia – Stimulating O Gel

I would normally run screaming and wouldn’t go anywhere near an arousal gel. My first thought is that it’s a useless product made to shame women that they take so long to get properly turned on or feel pleasure. A number of brands have come up with terrifying and sexist marketing when it comes to arousal gels. And that’s just the message they put on their packaging. This isn’t even taking into consideration what’s inside their products.

But then Sliquid came up with their organic, natural O gel and I had to check it out. After all, if there’s any arousal gel I will ever put on my intimate parts, that would be something made by Sliquid. And like everything they make, their stimulating gel is glycerin and paraben free. It’s part of their Organics line that has some of my favorite products (to name one: Sliquid Organics Gel Lubricant). It only has botanical extracts that stimulate circulation and enhance sensations. Nothing that can cause you an allergic reaction or any irritation.

First of all, Sliquid O Gel isn’t just a clitoral arousal gel. It’s a stimulating gel that can be used on any body part that likes tingling sensations. It’s great for nipples, clits, balls, labia majora, cocks (ones that are not too sensitive to such sensations). It doesn’t have any residue, it leaves your skin clean, dry and it’s non sticky. You only need one pump of the gel smeared over the area you want to stimulate. It will start tingling in a pleasant way, than the cooling off will subside and a gentle overall warming up of the area will follow. The tingling effect is not super long lasting, which to me is a huge advantage. You can always apply more, but no one wants to run to the bathroom and wash off their genitals to soothe a painful tingle or burn with water.
