DALLAS— Sliquid has hired Mary Hauder to serve as art director for the manufacturing company.
“It’s wonderful to see our team continue to grow. This is representative of the growth the brand is experiencing as a whole, and we are lucky to have talent like Mary on board to help take us to the next level. We are looking forward to seeing what direction she takes the brand’s image and can’t wait for our customers to see all the new and exciting things we have coming,” said Dean Elliott, Sliquid CEO.
In her new role, Hauder will be responsible for all of the art and illustrations for Sliquid, Ride Bodyworx, and Mad Toto. She will work directly with the rest of the team to keep everything looking good and regularly updated. Hauder has a diverse background in art which allows the team to create one of a kind marketing and promotional campaigns. Mary will then artistically bring these visions to fruition.
“Mary is hard-working and has immense talent that speaks for itself through her artwork. We believe her creativity, at the helm of our brand’s graphic content, will help push Sliquid’s imagery beyond some of the amazing things we have already done,” said Erik Vasquez, Sliquid’s marketing director.
Hauder is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in illustration and design. She has been working as a freelance illustrator for the past three years. In her spare time, she likes to keep her creativity going through drawing and painting. She also enjoys playing video games when she finds the time to pry herself away from her drawing tablet.
“I am excited to capture the fun and quality of our products and keep the overall brand image and site looking it’s very best with new and updated unique content. I think my artistic skills will allow the brands to grow with an original look instead of the standard stock imagery that you see many places,” Hauder said.

The two-day event will include showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers as well as workshops hosted by The Pleasure Chest and featuring a wide range of educators and sexual wellness experts.
“We will be promoting our full line of all-natural intimate products, including our Naturals Collection, the NSF-certified Organics Collection, the Balance Collection and Ride BodyWorx — which is our men’s collection,” said Michelle Marcus, VP of sales and marketing for Sliquid. “It is likely that by the fall, Sliquid will have at the very least a brand new product to debut, and for the consumer, that is sure to be very exciting. However, most important to everything that Sliquid represents: the biggest takeaway for the consumer will be the invaluable education offered on site.”
Marcus and Erik Vasquez, brand ambassador for Ride BODYWORX, will both be appearing in Sliquid’s booth at Sex Expo New York 2018 and will be available to answer questions that attendees have about its products.
“Based on the overwhelming response from consumers over the past couple of years…. we are very enthusiastic about joining both the exhibitors and attendees back in Brooklyn, NY in the fall for September’s show,” Marcus said. “The Beastie Boys definitely had it right in their infamous song and lyrics, ‘No Sleep ’Till Brooklyn.’”
The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.

She is set to graduate next month from the Art Institute of Dallas with a major in web design and minor in graphic design. Her career background in freelance web and graphic design combined with her pending degree “makes her a perfect fit for the forward-thinking brands,” a rep said.
Sliquid Founder and CEO Dean Elliott said, “Team Sliquid continues to grow stronger with the addition of Kia to our daily operations. We recognized her talent immediately and knew she would fit right into our company culture and office shenanigans. The entire team is excited to have her on board and under her guidance we will be taking our web presence to the next level.”
Zaman will create layouts, execute graphics for print and online campaigns and implement changes to/manage the company’s sites.
She said, “I consider this to be a great opportunity and a privilege to be a part of one of the best companies in America, a leader in women’s sexual health products. Sex education is more important than ever, yet schools continue to teach only the basics. If you weren’t explicitly told to abstain from sex, you may have learned how to use a condom to prevent sexually transmitted infections — but not much beyond that. There are so many things to know about sex that you never learned in health class, and may not know even now. Conversations surrounding what constitutes consent are everywhere these days, yet some people are still confused. Women who are attracted to women are left out of the sex-ed curriculum altogether, but they need to learn about safe sex, too.
I spoke to Lisa Hochberger, a sexologist, sex educator, and sex therapist at Wiser Sex Therapy Associates in New York City, about what you should’ve learned in sex ed. If your memory of health class is limited to your gym teacher putting a condom on a banana, don’t worry. Your crash course is below. If any of these eight facts surprise you, you’re not alone. Luckily, knowledge is power — so spread the word.
We have to thank all the sex toy reviewers who recommended this company. One of the powers of talking and blogging about sex toys and accessories is that the good brands stand out.
We had only tried Sliquid H2O, Sliquid Sassy, Sliquid Silk, Sliquid Soul and O Gel before collaborating with Luxury Vibrators. This brand provided us with travel sizes of Sliquid Organics Natural Gel, Sliquid Organics Silk, Sliquid Organics Natural, Sliquid Organics Sensation, Sliquid H2O (yay! we were running low), Sliquid Sea and Sliquid Silver. They also provided us with sample sizes of four Sliquid Swirl flavours: cherry vanilla, green apple, blue raspberry and strawberry pomegranate.
