DALLAS — Sliquid took home two top awards last week at the annual XBIZ Awards celebration in Hollywood, including the coveted Lubricant Company of the Year title.
Recognized for excellence in manufacturing, development, and attention to consumer health and wellness, Sliquid and its team continue to set new standards for body-safe intimate glides as they celebrate these special award wins.
According to Sliquid CEO Dean Elliott, thanks to its tireless success in the personal lubricant category, Sliquid has remained a top-selling option for women and their partners who prefer a more natural approach to slick sex intimate play. Featuring 100 percent vegan formulations that are free of parabens and glycerin, Sliquid lubricants offer a smooth, comfortable and body-safe experience.
Elliott also took home the XBIZ Executive Award recognizing his executive leadership, having been named as XBIZ’s 2016 “Businessman of the Year.”
This XBIZ Executive Award recognized Elliott’s dedication and drive to offer products that serve specific intimate purposes — from pH-balanced cleansers to soothing and hypoallergenic lubricants, while maintaining an animal-friendly production process. Elliott also helmed several key collaborations this past year that put the brand into more consumers’ hands, and says he plans to continue to pursue these types of strategic moves.
“It is an honor to consistently be nominated for top business awards like this and an even greater honor to take home the trophies,” Elliott said. “Our core business model is to be health-conscious, body-safe, and as natural as humanly possible in our development, manufacturing and distribution processes.”
“We are excited to have our products in the hands of the widest range of consumers we’ve ever reached,” Elliott added. “We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years, and of course everyone who voted for Sliquid — and for me!”
The Sliquid family is proud to announce another successful year of making body safe intimate products, and is honored to have won “Sex Lubricant Company of the Year” at the XBiz Awards show. 2016 marks the second win for Sliquid in this category. We are honored to be recognized by our peers and partners in the industry.
The 2016 XBiz Awards show was presented at the JW Marriott in down town Los Angeles, on Friday, January 15th 2016.

We’re always on the lookout for the best pieces of sex advice we can get.
This round of the Pleasure Panel I managed to volunteer for some flavored lubricants and one of them was the Sliquid Swirl Strawberry Pomegranate Flavoured Lube. Flavoured lubes are not my normal choice and it has been a long time since I used any prior to this Pleasure Panel review. My experiences in the past were not fantastic so anticipation of revising an old foe aside let’s get to it.
This particular version I had for review were convenient sachets. So perfect for travel, wallets/purses or trying lube before you buy it. You can get Sliquid lubes in bottle form as well in various sizes. So no matter your requirement package wise you are covered. The sachet itself holds 17 oz or 5 ml of lubricant so if you need quite a lot and multiple applications you may want to keep two on you.
…..
The initial fruity taste of the Sliquid Swirl Strawberry Pomegranate Flavoured Lube actually made me more enthusiastic at first mainly because I wanted to lick it all off. It was very fruity to taste so if you dislike the taste of fruit in anyway needless to say get a different flavour! On application as with most flavoured lubes it became sickly to taste after a period of time. I will say this took longer than other flavored lubes to become sickly most likely due to the more natural ingredients used.
When used for masturbation the Sliquid Swirl Strawberry Pomegranate Flavoured Lube behaved very well. It didn’t become too sticky even after some vigorous use. It is slightly stickier than it’s unflavoured counterpart but nothing too major. One large dollop was enough to reach climax however on a second go with the second sachet I used the whole thing. As usual the cleanup is just a quick wipe-up without any residue to worry about great for those times you can’t get to the shower afterwards as fast as you would like. I am quite picky with lubes when it comes to how they perform in terms of use, Sliquid is one of my go to lubes for a reason, that reason is mainly the lack of stickiness and overall natural feel to it.
Sliquid is a company that we were not familiar with before doing this review. We were never connoisseurs of lubricants although we use it in one form or another every time we get intimate. But on social media forums, people praised sliquid when it came to recommending a lubricant and those praises echoed throughout the community. Hearing nothing but great things we just had to try it.
The result of this is a wonderful product and a decreased chance of UTI’s and yeast infections that comes with excluding sugar byproducts, which makes Harper very happy. These products are ideal for sensitive women, and a revolution in the world of lubricants. With over 60 products you can certainly find the perfect one for your needs.
The Details
We received the Sliquid Organic Botanically Infused Natural Gel for our review, and we will focus on that. We have never used other Sliquid products so we cannot compare to other products in their line, but we have used other lubricants such Astroglide and Organic Coconut oil. The Sliquid is hands down the best lubricant we have used together.
The botanical gel is described by Sliquid as having double the plant cellulose as their standard natural lubricant, resulting in an ultra thick lubricant perfectly suited for anal or toy use.
…All ingredients you have probably heard of or can pronounce!
Use
The Sliquid is hands down the best lubricant we have used. There have been times previously where Harper has said some lubricants have caused irritation, but never with the Sliquid. We have been on a long hiatus from personal lubricants and have been sticking with organic coconut oil but this may have brought us back. Coconut oil is lovely in that it tastes good, smells good, as well as being multipurpose. We love to give massages with either our Massage Candle or the Coconut oil, and that may be where the coconut oil stays for now on. The Sliquid gel is far superior as a lubricant. It lasts longer, is slipperier, and keeps the benefits of taste/smell of the coconut oil without the oily mess that sometimes comes with using the oil. Overall we recommend this product far and above any other lubricant product we have encountered on the market. The praises have rang true and our nightstand will probably never be without a bottle of it now.
They help bring you into the world and keep you healthy, and they save the lives of so many.
I trust, respect and care deeply about many people who work in the medical field, but when it comes to sexual health, many of these professionals brush off its importance.
They tend to focus on keeping people alive, rather than sexuality satisfied.
So, I’m sure these lines that are commonly heard by people recovering from cancer will come as no surprise…
My two Sliquid lubricants, Sassy & Sea, are my go-to lubes that I currently use exclusively during my toy use and even sex. Sea provides a healthy, smooth vaginal lubricant, while Sassy is the perfect cushion for anal sex. Please, if you have been using off-the-shelf lubricant filled with parabens until now, look into and invest in some Sliquid, you won’t be disappointed.
Lube can be easily overlooked. I always knew it was important for anal sex, but otherwise I didn’t really see it as something I needed for a long time. If it wasn’t for the fact I was given a free bottle of some Doc Johnson lube at a sex convention two years ago, I would have probably never bought some, or just used convenience store types. As soon as I started reading sex blogs however, it became apparent how important and valid it is. Not just any lube either, but good lube, and one word popped up on practically every website I visited, ‘Sliquid’. I investigated, and now know that they stock what is largely considered the best and safest lubricant on the market. I soon decided from their large range what would suit me best, and promptly ordered my first two Sliquid lubricants, Sassy and Sea. I use lubricant heavily for my toys now, as most of them I would not be able to use without, vaginal or anal, and for sex too. After mentioning this on Tumblr though, I received a lot of asks on lubricant recommendations. So while there are many similar reviews out there on Sliquid, I wanted to give my own opinion on the products and how they work for me.
The market for personal lubricants is – appropriately enough – a saturated one. Lube comes in a zillion trillion different varieties. There are gels that promise to make you more slippery and slimy than a Foxtons estate agent on the pull; jellies that aim to make a guy’s cock taste like cocktails; and even liquids that claim to reduce the transmission of STIs.
I’m amazed that no-one has marketed a motion lotion called WD-Naughty yet, but there’s still a gargantuan number of lubricants on offer. So if you want to grab a tube of lube, what’s a good gloop to opt for? And how do you use it?
Some folks think that lube is only intended for older women, who tend to produce less natural vaginal moisture due to hormonal changes associated with ageing.
As with the rest of the Sliquid products, this lubricant is clearly labelled with is instantly recognisable as being part of the Sliquid range. The bottle label is classy and tasteful, without gender bias and it’s easy to read.
Even though this is the smaller bottle offered, 125ml not 250ml, it still feels like a generous amount of lubricant which will last through many sessions. This is helped by the fact that I only need a dot or two of the lube. Dispensation is by depressing one side of the cap so a spout pops up. When you first receive the lubes there is a peel off disc under the screw-off cap before you can dispense the lubricant. It’s the little touches like this safety seal which set Sliquid apart. The disc ensures that there are no spillages between manufacture and arriving at your door.
The lube isn’t completely without scent, to my nose anyway. Unscrewing the cap and smelling the contents gave me an impression of something light and fruity, apricot or peach perhaps. Only a vague smell, not in any way overpowering. Pleasant and light. There’s nothing like that in the ingredients; closest is green tea and sunflower seed. Upon dispensation and during use the scent is only barely discernible.
